This stove was manufactured by the well known Deville & Cie in Charleville in the Ardennes. The company grew famous in France, for the styling and quality of their stoves. The original foundry was established in 1848 by the Corneau brothers and Albert Deville. The company became known as Deville-Charleville in 1886. This is one of their most popular models, the "D.P.F." 600, a multi-fuel stove.
