Magnificently carved from solid oak with a bow front design and finished in a dark, rich stain, this handsome corner cabinet features open shelving over a lower cabinet. The cabinet's doors are flanked by barley twist pillars and feature carvings of the day's hunt suspended from ribbon bows with knobs at the centers, making it appear that the knobs are the bows' knots. Carved leaves gracefully scroll across a wide drawer above the doors. Open shelving over the cabinet consists of two graduated, beveled shelves, crowned with a carved pediment of scrolled leaves and an oval medallion. Raised on bun feet, the height of the lower cabinet is 39.5 inches.
