German Wooden Nutcracker Musketeer

Decked out in his very best, this musketeer nutcracker has feathers on his cap and metal buttons on his belt and shoes. His designer coat has shoulder pads and pleated sleeves. The coattails form the lever to open his black bearded jaw. A saber at his waist, he is ready to defend the home against evil and danger. He wears yellow pantaloons and black boots with gray cuffs. According to his original box, he comes from Gotha, Germany, formally part of East Germany, following World War II. This is a decorative nutcracker, not intended for cracking nuts.
