Vintage ski poles with cork grips like these are a rare find for us. Cork, though outdated by newer technology in the ski equipment industry, was a practical material for ski pole grips due to its light weight and resistance to absorbing moisture. Manufactured by Kranz of East Germany, this pair has its original, gold foil labels. Six inch baskets are held in place by leather lacing secured by brass rivets. These would make a great addition to your mountain, cabin, or ski decor!
