Ornate carvings of foliage adorn the front, top, and sides of this clock and boxes. Each has a vine handle at the top to remove the lid. When the clock lid is removed the clockworks are visible from the top. The diameter of the clock's face is 4 inches. The boxes are carved with barbed quatrefoils enclosing a floral pattern. The clock has a corresponding pattern below the face of the clock. The clock movement is stamped with the maker's mark BROCOT PROP te. This maker's mark originated in 1826.
