When closed, the drop leaf of this ornate secretary conceals seven small drawers and a divided, central cubby. The three small, shallow drawers above the drop leaf have brass handles. Below the drop leaf, the secretary has six deep drawers, which follow the scalloped lines of the desk's front edge. When open, the height of the drop leaf is 30.5 inches. Scalloped aprons trim the front and sides of the piece. Ornately carved legs support the desk. No key. Drop leaf does not close completely.
