Reminiscent of school days when education required ink and paper rather than a computer, this child's desk is made of a green cast iron frame with an aged oak desk top, seat, chair back, and stretcher. The desk features a surface with a place for an inkwell and a pen or pencil groove. A storage compartment for keeping books and supplies below the writing surface is open at the front and back. The entire desk top slides on the frame to bring it closer or move it further from the seat. Extended to its maximum depth, the desk is 32.75 inches. The seat height is 19 inches. The desk top measures 24 x 16.5 inches.
