Hand-carved, Old World craftsmanship and solid oak construction are paired in this stunning, mid-19th century cabinet. It features a center panel flanked by doors that open to upper storage and a drop-down door that opens to lower storage. Carved ogee and lancet arches, trifoils, and linenfolds attest to the cabinet's Gothic design. Two small faces peer out from the upper corners of the small doors. Beautiful iron escutcheons on the doors accent the cabinet. Raised on ogee feet, the cabinet stands just shy of four feet tall.
Condition: Consistent with age and use. Dings, stains, cracks. Small drill holes inside the back right. See photos.
