Crafted from oak in the late-19th century, this beautiful cabinet pairs quality craftsmanship and elegance. The soft curves of an arched bonnet cornice embellished with a central carved shell, rounded corners, and a scalloped apron are featured in its design. The cabinet's carved detailing includes shells, C-scrolls, and acanthus leaves consistent with Louis XV style furniture. Double doors open to an interior lined with quilted, cream fabric and a glass shelf. Four lower drawers provide additional storage. Decorative brass drawer handles and escutcheons add to the cabinet's overall luxurious appearance. The cabinet is raised on long, slender cabriole legs that terminate in ball and claw feet with a height just over 5.5 feet. Built as two pieces, it is easy to transport.
