Oak Parquet Draw-Leaf Dining Table and Upholstered Chairs, Seven Piece Set

Comprised of a beautiful parquet table and six upholstered chairs, this oak dining set pairs versatility and style to create a stunning set. The table's parquet is crafted from quarter-sawn oak, which produces a distinctive grain that gives the already interesting pattern of the parquet so much more visual interest. Draw-leaves tucked under the table top slide out to extend the length of the table to 95 inches. Clearly Louis XV in style, the table features cabriole legs with carved shells and suspended flowers at the knees, whorl feet, and shell carvings on the table's aprons. Like the table, the chairs have cabriole legs with a version of the tables carvings on their knees and carved shells on the top and bottom rails. Newer leather upholstery is secured to the chair frames by nailhead trim.

Condition: Good. Repair to back splats at top and bottom rails. Wear consistent with age and use. Dings, scratches, stains as expected on pieces from this era. Wear to the leather on the front edge of one chair's seat. See photo.
