Ideal for storing fire starting material near a fireplace, this carved coal scuttle bin features a hinged, sloped front with elaborately carved acanthus leaves scrolling around the face of a lion. Two flowers above the lion's head mirror the flowers carved on the thick, wooden handle. The sloped front opens to a removable, iron liner. A metal bracket is attached to the back of the box to hold the coal scoop.
