It's hard to say whether this charming sled was used to pull a very small child or a very large doll, but its bentwood backrest on turned supports was sure to keep precious cargo safe and upright. The single-slab seat sits on cross slats, which are joined to curved, wood runners by risers. The runners are united by a cross bar with a thin tow rope.
