The beauty of this lamp is in its base. Just below the socket, the base is embellished with gold edging above dark leaves and scrolled design. The main portion of the base is gold fluted. Above the triangular base, the lamp stands on three pawed feet supporting a base with an array of shells and leaves. The socket is threaded. Newer shade. Needs plug.
