This beauty has so many unique features: a pierced, foliated crest rail with gadrooning finials at the upper corners; an upholstered leather back with embossed pinstripes and an emblem on the upper right corner; turned spindles joining the leather backrest to the lower rail; carved arms that begin and terminate in scrollwork with leather manchettes; fluted and turned arm supports; a leather seat embossed with pinstripes; and fluted and gadrooning turned legs terminating in onion feet. The legs are united by a decorative X stretcher with a gadrooning finial at the center, which matches the finials on the crest rail. Decorative, floral nailhead trim secures the leather to the chair. The seat height is 19.5 inches.
