A carved oak frame and floral upholstery are paired to create this magnificent hunt chair. The frame is comprised of turned supports, arms that terminate in gracefully scrolled grips with acanthus leaves at the top and grips, a chair back and front stretcher of acanthus leaves and scroll work, turned legs joined by an H-stretcher, and ball feet. Newer upholstery is secured to the seat and edged in decorative trim. The seat height is 20.5 inches.
Condition: Consistent with age and use. Dings, scratches, cracks. Small stain on upholstery.
