A carved oak frame and blue upholstery are masterfully paired to create this magnificent Louis XV chair. The frame is comprised of turned and barley twist supports, arms that terminate in gracefully scrolled acanthus leaves, a crest of grape leaves, and a pierced grapevine encircling the chair's upholstered back. Welting trims the upholstery on the seat, chair back, and manchettes, distinguishing the chair's contours. The seat height is 19 inches.
