Crafted in France in the late-19th century, this handsome table features oak construction and carvings consistent with hunt style furniture. The table's oval top is beveled with decorative egg and dart trim at the edge. A large, carved pedestal base is supported by legs that feature fruit-breathing creatures, symbolic of power and prosperity. Raised on small casters, the table has a height of 29 inches.
Condition: Consistent with age. Dings, scratches, and cracks as expected with a piece of this age. Stains on top. See photos.
