This rustic trunk features a substantial iron escutcheon flanked by large carved flowers, twisted iron handles, and a scalloped apron between shaped front feet. While most of our pieces are in original condition, this trunk was transformed from a flip-top trunk into a piece with a flip-down front that opened on hinges. Later it was returned to its original state with the help of a newer interior piece to secure the front.
Conditions: Consistent with age and use. Cracks, scratches, dings. See photos.
