This elegant bedside cabinet has a secret. The second and third drawers from the top are not drawers at all. They are actually a single, drop-down door that opens to a marble-lined compartment once used to store a chamber pot. The drawers and door are carved with sprays of flowers and flanked by turned and fluted columns. The top of the cabinet has been replaced with beautiful quartersawn oak. The cabinet rests on bun feet.
