Made of thick copper, this large bowl has so much character with its cramp seams brazed with brass filler, slightly out of round shape, and wide rim. The edges of the copper were clipped with metal shears to create the notches of the cramp seam during the 19th century prior to machine cuts, giving the seam an irregular appearance.
