Embossed with alternating strings of graduated ovals and opposing C scrolls, which resemble hearts, this metal jardiniere has a lovely patina. The maker's mark on the bottom is KMD Daalderop of Tiel, Holland. Well known for the production of metal goods, Daalderop was one of the largest manufacturing companies in Tiel, Holland in the early 20th century.
