Titled "The Hope" or "de hoop" in Dutch, this ornately painted Dutch sled has a mermaid holding an anchor on its back. A floral motif decorates the handle, sides, back, and seat. The underside of the sled has the name Cynthia. The runner glides are metal. The front edge of the seat is slightly damaged.
