The ELMA Company was created in 1924 by five men, two of whom were brothers, in Arrasate, Spain. The combination of the first letters of their last names spells ELMA. The company was acquired or sold in the 1940s, making their coffee grinders highly valuable due to the short time they were manufactured. This ELMA grinder is Model 0. The crank works smoothly and the grinder spins freely. The grinder is black with a brown hopper lid. The drawer and crank handle are wood.
