Enamel Singer Sewing Machine Sign

The Singer Corporation began making sewing machines in the US in 1851 and opened an additional manufacturing plant in Scotland in 1867 to meet the demand for machines in Europe. Used for advertising the sale of sewing machines in the shops of Belgium, this enamel Singer sign with the classic Singer "S" features vivid colors, text written in French and Dutch, and the Singer trademark used during the mid 1930s. See photos for maker's information.
