Made of solid oak, this English plate cupboard, also called a Welsh Dresser, features a bold cornice with dentil style trim and a scalloped apron with turned pendants at each side. The upper gallery includes two plate rack shelves. The lower shelf is flanked by spice cupboards with small drawers beneath. The base of the cupboard is comprised of three top drawers over three center drawers flanked by raised panel doors. Block feet support the cupboard. A dark patina with a high gloss finish and brass hardware contribute to the cupboard's rich appearance. The upper gallery and base can be separated for easy transportation.
