A classic piece of history, this English suitcase was manufactured by the Pukka Luggage Company, in operation from 1909 to the late 1950s and known for superior quality travel cases, especially during the interwar period. Made from waxed canvas, this suitcase features leather reinforced corners, leather strap holders, leather handles secured by brass handle holders with "Pukka" and "25233" inscriptions, brass side catches, and a central brass clasp. The Pukka label is attached to the lining of the suitcase while portions of two authentic travel labels are affixed to the outside. The bottom of the suitcase is protected by three wooden base runners. The name of a former owner and "No. 3" have been painted on the canvas.
