Display a bit of history with this German cigar mold. Created for use at Hart & Hertel in the early 20th-century, this two piece, mold press manufactured 20 cigars at a time. The so-called winding forms made it possible to produce lower and medium quality cigars more quickly and easier than the manual, labor intensive cigar making of the past. This mold was registered with Germany's D. R. G. M. (German Reich Utility Model), which was in existence from 1891 until the end of World War II. It is marked number 6540.
