Ready for the hills, this vintage sled pairs the elegance of the classic ram's horn design and the rustic look of wood exposed to the elements. The sled features a three slat seat that is 10.25 inches high, metal glides on runners that terminate in ram's horns, wooden and metal cross bars that unite the runners between the risers and horns, and a maker's mark from Germany. Ram's horn sleds, known as "Grindelwalders," were first developed in Grindelwald, Switzerland. The horns provide a better grip while riding upright than earlier sleds.
