This steamer trunk was manufactured by well known trunk maker Ernst Lange of Dresden, Germany. The owner, Dr. Nordhoff, had his initials marked on the trunk's top. A tag from his travel remains on the trunk's side. The trunk is covered in canvas. It has brass hardware, leather handles, and wood trim on the outer sides and center. Double locks. No key
