Standing guard in his royal uniform with a saber at his side, this German nutcracker is ready to defend and protect. His black hat is decorated with a feather and chain. His double breasted, red coat is fastened with a black belt. His coattails form the lever to open his white bearded jaw. He wears white pants and black boots. An Expertic label from the DDR (East Germany) indicates this nutcracker was manufactured following World War II. This is a decorative nutcracker, not recommended for cracking nuts.
