Back in the day when ice cream making was a family affair, this Basant hand-crank machine was used to make small batches. It features a wooden tub bound with three metal bands; a four quart capacity inner canister; a wood and cast iron dasher; and a heavy duty, iron crank mechanism with a wooden handle on top and an arm with a wooden handle at the side that moves the gears when rotated. For decorative use only.
