Famous balance maker, Henry Troemner, from Philadelphia crafted this marble top scale. It was made prior to his death in 1873, likely between 1844 and 1852. It has the original two brass pans which are supported by four arm iron holders. The pans are 9" in diameter. The base of the scale is 5" tall.
