This cookie mold takes the prize as the largest speculaasplank we have ever seen! Dutch molds like this one are used in the Netherlands for holiday baking of speculaas, a thin shortcrust cookie. Sometimes they are windmills, other times they resemble people. This one is a rendition of an gentleman in traditional clothes with a large cane. When not being used for baking, this speculaasplank can be hung from the hole at the top.
