Carved with magnificent detail, this mirror features stunning symmetry along the sides with a slightly asymmetric crown and base. The crown displays the leafy fronds of fern, which are flanked by cornucopia on either side. The cornucopias are turned so their content spills down the sides of the mirror. One cornucopia holds flowers symbolizing joy. The other holds fruit and foliage symbolizing abundance. The base of the frame depicts two opposing serpents with mouths wide open, flicking their large tongues. A floral motif is evident throughout. The glass is newer and has been edited to remove reflection.
