A pierced cartouche featuring a convex oval flanked and crowned with scrolling acanthus leaves adorns this substantial, five foot mirror. Four carved tulips cascade beneath small scrolls down each side of the frame. The bottom of the frame features small scrolls. The beveled glass, which has been edited to remove reflection, has minimal flecking and spots consistent with age.
