Created in France by Wagner Nanci Furniture, this Louis XV wardrobe is made of walnut veneer over oak. It has three shelves inside. Beneath the double doors there are two drawers. The top drawer has two brass handles which match the design of the escutcheons on the doors. The bottom drawer is disguised as an apron with a large shell between flowers. The wardrobe has two keys: one for the door, one for the drawer. Over time, the veneer near the top has blistered, probably due to prolonged humidity. Some scratches and chips.
