This handsome desk features a versatile top that opens to a drop-down writing surface and four storage niches flanked by four small drawers on each side. Two drawers beneath the writing surface offer additional storage. Its mahogany veneer is stained with a rich, warm finish that seems to glow. The desk is raised on shaped legs that terminate in scrolled feet. The legs are united by a shaped X-stretcher.
Condition: Consistent with age and use. Checking on the mahogany veneer. Missing one escutcheon. See photos.
