The maker's marks beneath this Minton Buckingham sugar bowl and creamer set have the standard, pink, Minton's mark and the crown, which were first used in 1891. The marks do not have the words "made in England" which where added to the mark in 1902. Elijah Sherman Grammer, U. S. Senator from Seattle, Washington, signed his initials to the bottom of the pieces in 1909. Additionally, marks on the bowl and creamer include ciphers, which are not legible, and the #1426.
