The maker's mark on the bottom of this Minton Buckingham china dish has the standard, pink, Minton's mark and the crown, which was first used in 1891. The mark does not have the words "made in England" which where added to the mark in 1902. Elijah Sherman Grammer, U. S. Senator from Seattle, Washington, signed his initials to the bottom of the dish in 1909. Additionally, marks on the dish include a cipher which is not legible and the #1426.
