Scrolling acanthus leaves and a carved fan adorn the cresting rail of this oak bench from Belgium. Three rows of repetitive ovals are carved below the cresting rail. This pattern repeats on the seat rail. The back has three identical panels carved with flowers, leaves, and a fan. The seat is raised on turned legs with a turned H stretcher. Turned arm supports match the legs. The seat height is 18.25 inches.
