A beautiful high back with a scalloped cresting rail over for carved balls and a top rail crown the back of this lovely rocking chair. Below the top rail, four flat-shaped splats, flanked by spindle stiles provide comfortable back support. Scrolled arms and a generous saddle are worn from years of enjoyment. The design of the top rail features carved scrolls nestled in foliage. Spindle arm risers, legs, and stretchers add elegance. The height of the seat is 18.5 inches.
