When open, its drop-down, slanted top rests on pull-out supports to become a writing surface and reveal a shelf with four drawers for organizing small items. Two drawers below the drop-down top provide additional storage for larger supplies. Floral, shell, and C scroll carvings adorn the secretary, adding a touch of elegance to its sturdy oak construction. Raised on slender cabriole legs that terminate in hoof feet, the desk is 37 inches tall.
