This French picturesque watercolor poster was originally produced in 1895 by F. Hugo d'Alesi. Born Frédéric Alexianu in Romania, d'Alesi became a French citizen known for his work painting tourism posters. The poster advertises services to Paris and Zermatt by train, passing through Dijon, Pontarlier, and Lausanne.
The poster is framed in a vertical, walnut finished frame. This is a new poster, not an antique.
