These helmets were originally used by the Prussian army and later adopted by many of the surrounding kingdoms and ultimately, Germany. The helmets were not used in actual battle, but for photographs, pomp and celebrations. Each helmet includes a decorative barley twist stand.
Condition: Professionally restored in the late 19th century.
