This type of classic, bentwood snow sled, known as a ram's horn or "Grindelwalder," was first developed in Grindelwald, Switzerland. Its ram's horn construction provides a better grip while riding upright than earlier sleds. The sled has metal runner glides for improved speed. The seat height is 11.75 inches and is made of two slats secured to the frame by wooden crossrails.
