Crafted in France at the end of the 19th-century with a magnificient herringbone rosewood pattern, this delightful nightstand has a secret. The second and third drawers form a drop-down door that provided a place for a chamber pot right next to the bed. This space is lined with marble to protect the cabinet from spills and to keep the odor in. Four additional drawers are ideal for storing small items. The top showcases a beveled edge, rounded corners, and an inset piece of marble.
