The Royal Copenhagen Company began manufacturing its Blue Fluted Full Lace porcelain at its foundation in 1775. Therefore, each piece is identified with the #1. Its longevity attests to its beauty. The pattern, still painted by hand, has a continuous lace border with connecting blue floral design. This coffee pot and lid are marked with artist #1030. The bar above the "G" in Copenhagen on the trademark indicates this piece was painted in 1947. The coffee pot holds 2 cups. With its lid, it is 8 1/2” in height. A face smiles at the base of the handle and the spout.
