This type of classic bentwood snow sled, known as a Bighorn or "Grindelwalder," was first developed in Grindelwald, Switzerland. Its ram's horn like loops provided a better grip while riding upright than earlier sleds. The sled has metal runner glides and crossbars. There is a crack in the middle left support.
