This mechanical winding, cylindre 6 rubis, pocket watch features an open face, enamel dial, smooth back, and the winding key. All lids open and close. Inside the back case, the watch is marked with .800 and a grouse, both of which were the Swiss silver hallmark for 80% fineness. Additional markings include a crown (this mark was used for exports to Germany), AFC in an oval, the serial number, and an illegible marking. As was customary for Swiss pocket watches, the inside of the inner cover is marked as metal and serial number 19741. The watch is in working condition but should be serviced.
