Embellished with carved foliage, scrollwork, and fluting, this beautiful dining set includes a bold trestle table of solid walnut and six lovely chairs. The table's double pedestal legs are united by a flat, plank trestle. Extensions and additional legs pull out from the sides of the table for additional leaves, which disappeared long ago. The chairs feature carved top rails flanked by fluted stiles, turned legs terminating in ball feet that are united by box stretchers, and beveled seats that are 18 inches high.
Condition: Consistent with age and use. Scratches on table top. See photos.
